Good News Update on the reopening of Galway’s Sexual Assault Treatment Unit for Children and Adolescents.
HSE West have confirmed that the Unit will reopen this weekend and will remain open.
In this regard, I have just received confirmation that arrangements have now been put in place and ‘money has been found’ to ensure that the unit will remain open.
The Parliamentary Question however will still remain on the Dáil agenda for next Wednesday and I will follow up on same.
