Is Féidir Linn Lé Chéile, níl ach Seacht Lá Fágtha!
We are on the final Seven Day Count Down!
Canvass continues tonight-Thursday at 6.30pm on the west side of the City and the meeting point is at the Spinnaker Hotel just after the Golf Course.
On the East side the meeting point is the Renmore Church again at 6pm a little earlier than usual.
I will be in Clifden during the day.
Thank You to everyone who turned out last night on both sides of the City. The weather was cold but beautiful so that kept all our spirits up not to mention the promise of a Number One or a Number Two!
I also had a very good canvass in Ballinrobe during the day yesterday where I met a wide variety of people in the town, in the business community and also at the Mart.
The common theme emerging all of the time besides people’s anger with the change in boundary is the crisis in health and the feeling of deep hurt and anger at the government’s toleration of same.
In addition, the neglect of small towns, emigration struggling small businesses and the failure to provide any form of state aid for (unemployed) self-employed people were t hemes that emerged over and over again.
Further the lack of any government support for the excellent Town Hall project was also a cause of great concern.
Just to note, this day week it will all be over so we are on the final Seven Day Count Down Together agus Gan Amhras Is Féidir Linn é a dhéanamh Le Chéile.
